It was a dark cloudy day
The wind was blowing the trees to a sway
The sky was downcast – it looked like it would cry
Leaves and sand flying up the air
Picked up by the wind and tossed around…
‘It’s gona rain!’ I told myself and hurried to get under the shade
Uninvited the rain poured… down it came
As though with vengeance it had to repay
And I stood watching the clouds pour out its heart
Sweet rain it was once to me
But now it’s another cumbersome mess life brings.
